{"id":1963,"date":"2019-03-22T19:19:18","date_gmt":"2019-03-22T19:19:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dimensions.ai\/?post_type=news&#038;p=1963"},"modified":"2024-10-24T19:25:13","modified_gmt":"2024-10-24T17:25:13","slug":"the-national-library-of-sweden-adopts-dimensions","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.dimensions.ai\/news\/the-national-library-of-sweden-adopts-dimensions\/","title":{"rendered":"The National Library of Sweden adopts Dimensions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re happy to announce that the National Library of Sweden has decided to adopt,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dimensions.ai\/sector\/academic-institutions\/\">Dimensions.<\/a>\u00a0With the adoption of Dimensions, they hope to explore the influence of ongoing and past collaborations and plan for national assessment and research activities, particularly when it comes to open access trends.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the adoption of Dimensions at The National Library of Sweden, Camilla Lindel\u00f6w, administrative officer and data analyst at the National Library of Sweden, said \u201cWe were looking for a digital resource that would allow us to create broad reporting on Open Access as well as consortium member footprints within metrics, funding and other measurements around the various publications and scholarly activities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ben McLeish, Director of Outreach &amp; Advocacy for Dimensions at Digital Science added, \u201cIt\u2019s hugely gratifying to see the adoption of the Dimensions service at such a prestigious institution. We are looking forward to the kinds of insights into funding, innovation, Open Access and other publication metrics that Swedish institutions can now benefit from in their future reporting run by the National Library.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>_______________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the National Library of Sweden<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The National Library of Sweden is both a library and a government agency.
