A white paper commissioned by Times Higher Education<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (THE),<\/em> and produced in collaboration with Prince Sultan University<\/a> <\/strong>and Digital Science<\/a>, titled \u2018Research in the Context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Developed and Developing World: Evidence From the Past 15 Years\u2019  was released last week<\/strong><\/a>. The white paper utilizes data from Dimensions<\/a> <\/strong>to uncover significant gaps in research funding, collaboration and assessment between developed and developing countries. The analysis \u2013 the most comprehensive of its kind to date \u2013 shows that lower income countries struggle to gain recognition for their contributions towards the SDGs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authors, including Digital Science\u2019s Ann Campbell and Juergen Wastl, have sought to redress this imbalance through a series of recommendations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
