Emerald Publishing and Dimensions are pleased to announce an agreement which will provide the global publisher with access to Dimensions data on Google BigQuery. Dimensions is a comprehensive database that covers the full research and innovation lifecycle. Google BigQuery, Google Cloud\u2019s serverless and secure multi-cloud data warehouse, enables Emerald Publishing to leverage the full dataset available in Dimensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emerald Publishing has been using Dimensions Analytics and the Dimensions API since 2018<\/a> and have since then been using Dimensions in a variety of ways<\/a> to support their Open Access and publishing strategies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This latest agreement provides Emerald staff with Dimensions data on Google BigQuery to further help shape their publishing strategy and monitor trends. BigQuery allows Emerald\u2019s users to combine the Dimensions data with their internal data sources and also offers connections to popular Business Intelligence and data visualization tools.
