The research lifecycle is complex and nuanced, and subject to influence from many different areas. A topic\u2019s stage in development can be given much wider context when seen through more data points than just citations or publication output. Taken together, Dimensions and Altmetric offer the richest set of data for understanding the research phenomena, bringing together over twenty disparate forms of research output, scholarly communication and evidence of impact. By exploring three subjects from different areas (medical, humanities and technology), we demonstrate the power of these tools and the insights that may be elicited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Join us for two engaged sessions plus an open networking lunch break on May 28th, featuring participants from the University of Windsor, the Ontario Medical Association, and Western University.
