We are pleased to let you know that as of today, Dimensions includes filters for research into the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SDG filter is now available to all Dimensions users, including the free version, through app.dimensions.ai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SDGs are at the centre of the UN\u2019s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development<\/a> and an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They recognise that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth \u2013 all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research into these areas is critical to help transform the world and each development goal has a list of targets which are measured with indicators. Dimensions users can now filter this research in the publications content type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe new Dimensions SDG classifier allows for specific analyses at the interface of research and policy,\u201d says Juergen Wastl, Director Academic Relations and Consultancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith SDG tags, links between the environmental, social and economic SDG dimensions can be made. This introduces a new, discipline-independent, SDG relevant, understanding of research addressing the major questions that society on our planet currently faces.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the SDGs can also be used in the categories timeline charts, barcharts and heatmaps in the Analytical Views.
