You will be able to search across more than 100 million publications within the Dimensions platform and seamlessly analyze the online attention for your search query in the Altmetric Explorer without breaking your workflow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Users can now further explore a researcher\u2019s rich profile and all of their research output. This allows them to trace the impact of their work and identify influential (or even controversial) individuals in a field for recruitment, collaboration, or research purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Advanced analytical capabilities in Dimensions Plus and Dimensions Analytics make it possible to compare and contrast data from research institutions around the world. Leveraging the integrated Altmetric attention analysis will support detailed benchmarking and mapping the competitive landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
More in-depth analysis can be done into the online attention for funded research by searching by funder group or funder country allowing users to strengthen funding applications Users working in the Biomedical sciences can utilize the additional research category filters including the classification systems used by the NIH in Dimensions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In Dimensions Plus or Analytics, you\u2019ll now be able to see a button that reads \u201cSee attention in Altmetric Explorer\u201d. Run a publications search, ensuring that you only have 25,000 results or fewer. (Please note that if your publications search query has more than 25,000 results the button will be greyed out.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fig 1. \u201cView in Altmetric Explorer\u201d disabled (>25k publications)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you have filtered your results down to 25,000 or fewer, you\u2019ll see the \u201cSee attention in Altmetric Explorer\u201d button light up!
